Adults are now the majority of our orthodontic caseload — usually for confidence, sometimes for a bite that's been quietly causing trouble.
Teen mouths are still developing, so the right appliance depends as much on growth stage as on the alignment itself.
First orthodontic check is best around age seven — a no-pressure visit with a specialist who knows what to look for and, just as often, what to leave alone.
