Dental implants in Blackrock, South Dublin.

A specialist implant team. An in-house lab. A 3D CT scanner. And one of the longest implant track records in Ireland.

What we do

Dental implants & tooth implants.

A dental implant is a small titanium screw placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. A natural-looking crown is then attached to it. Done well, an implant looks and feels like a tooth.

The problem

Living with missing teeth: the hidden challenges.

01

Health concerns

Bone loss in the jaw begins almost immediately after a tooth is lost. Adjacent teeth tilt and shift over time, putting pressure on the bite.

02

Confidence and social impact

Many patients tell us they've stopped smiling in photos, avoided eating in public, or grown used to covering their mouth. It changes how people show up.

03

Daily discomfort

Removable dentures shift, click and slip. Patients often live with a low-grade discomfort that they've simply learnt to ignore.

The solution

The solution: dental and tooth implants.

Implants stop the cascade. They replace the tooth root, preserve bone, and restore full function — without compromising the surrounding teeth.

Why dental implants

Five reasons patients choose them.

01

Natural function

You eat, speak and smile exactly as you would with your own teeth. There's no awareness that the tooth isn't yours.

02

Natural aesthetics

The crown is shade-matched and shaped to your face by our in-house lab — designed to disappear into your smile.

03

Preserves bone health

By replacing the tooth root, the implant signals the jawbone to stay strong and prevents the slow bone loss that follows extraction.

04

Versatile solution

Single tooth, multiple teeth, or full arch — the same implant principle scales to almost every case.

05

Long-lasting result

With good hygiene, modern implants are designed to last decades. Many of our earliest cases are still in service after 20+ years.

In-house dental laboratory

Our advantage

Our in-house dental implant lab and tech.

Most clinics send their implant prosthetics off-site. We don't. Our master technicians design and finish your crowns, bridges and full-arch restorations in our own laboratory, two doors from the surgery.

  • On-site dental laboratory — full design and fabrication in-house
  • Dedicated CT scanner — millimetre-accurate implant planning
  • Direct conversation between surgeon, technician and patient

Smile stories

Real implant patients. Real results.

I'd been told for years I'd need full dentures. Seapoint planned the whole thing and did the work in two visits.

Common questions

Your dental implant FAQs.

Am I suitable for dental implants?
Most adults in good general health are suitable for implants. We'll do a CT scan and clinical assessment to confirm bone quality and rule out issues like uncontrolled diabetes or heavy smoking. Even patients with low bone density often have options — bone augmentation can rebuild what's needed.
How long does the treatment take?
A standard single implant takes around four months from placement to final crown — most of that time is healing, not appointments. Teeth in a Day cases are completed the same day. Multi-implant restorative cases vary case by case.
Is the surgery painful?
Implant placement is done under local anaesthetic and most patients describe it as more comfortable than they expected. Sedation is available for nervous patients. Post-operative discomfort is usually managed with standard pain relief.
How long do implants last?
With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, modern implants are designed to last decades. Many of our patients still have implants placed in the early 2000s.
What does it cost?
A single implant typically starts from €1,450 for placement, plus the abutment and crown. Full-arch restorations vary considerably. We provide written, itemised pricing after your initial assessment — see our fees page for guideline costs.
